LOS HUERTOS DE SEGURA

Los Huertos de Segura are situated in the historical and artistic site of Segura de la Sierra, within the Natural Park of the Sierras Cazorla, Segura and Las Villas, to be reached via the N-322 road (Bailén–Albacete) passing through the villages of La Puerta de Segura and Orcera:

From Madrid (300 km): *Important advice - see below
From Madrid on the highway/Autovía N-IV to  Manzanares – turn towards La Solana – then on the CM-3127 to Villanueva de los Infantes (sometimes indicated just as Villanueva or Vva de los Infantes) – Montiel – Albaladejo – (until you reach the N322)  now towards Úbeda – La Puerta de Segura – Orcera – Segura de la Sierra.

From Valencia (300 km):
From Valencia on the highway/Autovía N-430 to Albacete – from here on the N-322 to La Puerta de Segura – Orcera – Segura de la Sierra

From Granada (235 km):
From Granada on the highway/Autovía N-323 to Jaén – from here on the A-316 to Úbeda and from here on the N-322 (towards Albacete) to La Puerta de Segura – Orcera – Segura de la Sierra
 
From Córdoba (235 km):
From Córdoba on the highway/Autovía N-IV to Bailén and from here on the N322 (towards Albacete) to Úbeda – Villacarrillo – La Puerta de Segura – Orcera – Segura de la Sierra.

*Important advice: For everybody coming via Madrid/Manzanares or Valdepeñas: The road from Albaladejo to the N322 (8 km) is cut off because of improvement works going on probably until the end of 2009 **. The best option is following the CM412 after reaching Villanueva de los Infantes towards Villahermosa, Villanueva de la Fuente until joining the N322 shortly before Reolid. Then follow towards Úbeda - La Puerta de Segura - Orcera and Segura de la Sierra.

**For some strange reason the road remains blocked although road works have been finished time ago…??? (06.03.2010).
